I live in a small village called Perry which is Located 45 miles south of Rochester NY and 50 miles east of Buffalo NY. Perry offers a wonderful mix of country, lake and small town living. The village park is the center of resident's outdoor activities with baseball diamonds, lighted tennis and basketball courts, kids pool, playground, fishing pond and picnic areas. We also hold our yearly Sea Serpent Balloon Festival at the park and have our 4th of July festivals here at Silver Lake. Silver Lake also offers many other different activites such as boating, water skiing, swimming, fishing and other water sport activites. There are also a few camping spots located near and around the lake as well as a few summer camps for kids. Just up the road is the Charcoal Corral and Silver Lake Twin Drive-in. Here you can enjoy alot of good food and a number of other activities. At the Corral they have mini golf, car shows and even music concerts and dj's. You can also enjoy a good movie in the comfort of your car. Now where would my small over populated town be without our municipal services? Hmm, Good question and I hope I never get that answer. Anyway, here we have our village police department, volunteer fire department and 24-hour emergency ambulance. There is also an airport just 8 miles away and has landing and repair facilities for private and small corporate aircraft.
I've had this guitar ever sence my teen years and I use it just as often now as I did when I got it. I always enjoyed music and ended up wanting to making my own. When I decided that I wanted to start playing the guitar I talked with my parents. I guess they talked it over and decided to get me one because my father took me out a few days later to get one. Since then my father has passed away which has made me cherish my guitar more now than ever. When I first got my guitar I didn't know much about them and I never had playing lessons. From there I decided that I would just teach myself so I got myself a book on playing the guitar. I'm not saying i'm a pro but I do know all the basic cords and I've gotten good at making up my own rhythm's. Speaking of making up stuff. It was fun when my brother lived here because every day after he got home from work, I'd be in my room playing something on the guitar. He had to walk past my room on the way to his and he would always stop and start making up silly songs to my music. The thing that made it so funny was how good he was at it. He'd be there for like 5 minutes and I'd just keep playing. Oh boy, That was just great. Okay Anyways as you can see, my guitar is kinda normal. But, I would like to make some changes to it to make it look nicer. I would also like to turn it into an acoustic electric. I know someone who has one and I've always liked the sound.

Well, like I just mentioned. I've always enjoyed music and wanted to start making my own. I mention this again because the guitar wasn't the first instrument that caught my attention. In school I played the trumpet but I never went too far with it. I do own a keyboard and I taught myself how to play. I've played the keyboard for years and enjoyed it alot. Besides that I also took drum lessons and since then I've bought myself an electronic drumset. Recently I have purchased bongos and have found that I enjoy them just as much as my drums. The only other instrument that I am interested in is the harmonica. I don't own one and I don't know how to play but it's something I've been thinking about. Who knows, Maybe soon I'll get one and also teach myself how to play. Besides all of that i also wright and make my own music. For more info about that see the Anyjah Rayne link above.

The Upper Falls
Here is a pic of the Upper Falls in Letchworth State Park. Notice the railroad track up above? It's up alot higher than it looks. Believe me, you notice it when you are on it. Yes, when I was younger I used to walk across it and it scared the crap out of me every time. It's not so bad if you don't look down but for some reason I always had to look down. The scariest time I've had on it was when I got half-way across and a train came. It get's kinda shaky and loud at that point.
